Continuing Education - Professional Development Training and HE Bitesize Courses

Cornwall is blessed with high quality education providers who offer a broad range of locally based training and professional development programmes to people from all educational backgrounds.

Graduates

From time to time, graduates leave university feeling their degree is not quite ‘enough’ to secure them the type of position they would most like. This is quite normal!  Many undergraduates start their degree with a career direction in mind (or none at all!) and finish their degree with completely different points of view, passions or directions.

In some cases, undertaking a short degree level course can really help graduates to develop their knowledge and demonstrate commitment to their professional career development, in addition to developing skills and acquiring an up-to-date knowledge base which will be really valuable to employers.

Employers

Short degree level courses are a great way to develop your staff.  Usually they take place over 4 or 5 days and offer a key injection of knowledge and skills.  There are many different choices of short courses, offered locally through Cornwall College and, Truro and Penwith College, that deliver the most up-to-date academic research findings and expertise available.
